Welcome to Rocky Coast Rabbit Rescue

Good to meet you! 

We are Rachel and Kaili. Both of us have a background in rescue, and a passion for domestic rabbits. We saw a critical need for rabbit rescue resources in Maine, and thus Rocky Coast Rabbit Rescue and Sanctuary was born. 

Rocky Coast Rabbit Rescue’s mission is to help ensure safety and welfare of Maine’s domestic rabbits. Efforts will be put towards trapping domestic rabbits that have been released outdoors, and owner surrenders will be accepted on a case by case basis. Educational outreach will be a long-term goal, and in that we will work with local families who need support, resources or education to help keep their rabbit/s.

Our organization is looking to grow a strong community support within Maine and Southern Maine, as well as build connections with folks who share a similar heart to help rabbits and bring forward lasting change.
